Is a Chocobo Companion rework needed?

IMO, it ain't broke and doesn't need fixing.

Let's go with it ain't broken but it could be better instead.

Also, yes to scion companion, so i can give them a nice dirt nap by aiming the enemy attacks towards them. After their thousandth ignominious death at the hands of weak overworld critters, i could be at peace with their plot armor immortality. In fact, each and every one of the scions dying a thousand times at the hands of that one posters spirit animal would be equally awesome and hilarious.
