Where do I chime in for caster and healer role quest and Garlemald? I will also go with I really liked a lot of the side stories, in particular Thavnair's that are needed to unlock the Arkasodra.

Loved Elpis it was awesome although the number of side quests were quite an effort to get through. Didn't expect to see the ancients and found it quite enjoyable. I loved Venat one of my favorite characters and Emet.

If I had to pick just one single moment, it would be "the walk" in Ultima Thule with the full version of "Close in the Distance" playing in the background. Recognizing the various characters and the music itself were extraordinary.
If I can add some "runners up," I'd say things like:
-Elpis. Meeting old Emet-Selch, Hythlodaeus, and Venat brought a smile to my face the whole way through.
-The music. Pretty much always true, but standouts for me were the battle themes for the three trials (Zodiark, Hydaelyn, Endsinger). The way Soken managed to include snippets from every single expansion in the Endsinger fight was awesome. The perfect culmination for the series so far. Also a nod to the Radz-at-Han theme while you're still doing the MSQ, and the initial version of the Ultima Thule theme when you first arrive. That set the atmosphere so much.
-The callbacks to FFIV. It's my second-favorite game in the series, but hasn't had as many references to it as some of the others around it. Using the town and battle themes while you're in the loporrits home, the Moon piece itself, and what I at least immediately saw as a call back to the final fight of FFIV when the scions sent their spiritual energy to aid us.
I'm a man, and I have absolutely no idea what he means, either. Also strange that he seems to assume the gender of the player will necessarily match that of the character. What utter Nonsense.
Nah. Some people just enjoy seeing positivity reach the forums for a change, especially since you can go practically anywhere else and see almost exclusively positive things. I'd say the insecurity comes in having so many negative threads, but feeling so threatened by a couple positive ones that some people need to insert themselves there and try to sabotage them...I won't lie. It says a lot about someone (or multiple someones) who feel the need to counter every single negative thread with their own as a polar opposite. It reeks of insecurity.

Crippling Depression
Free the Glam!, Duel Pistols (Gunner)?
I like thavnair a lot as a zone, as well as sharlayan and radz. I felt like a lot of the job changes were half decent because they didnt try to reinvent the wheel and just upgraded lots of stuff, but I feel a mass of reworks in 7.0 but that's another story. The OST was really good (aside from UT vocal theme) and I really like labyrinthos, even if i think it couldve been worked better into the msq. The EX trial mechanics are pretty cool so far as well. Haven't done savage so can't comment.
Story wise, I extremely disliked most of it, but this thread isn't about that so I won't go into it. My story complaints far far exceed my gameplay complaints, although those exist too.

Honestly? One of the smaller moments that was also one of my biggest joys was when the narration finally stopped being Emet and switched over to Alphinaud. I am BEYOND sick of Emet as a character, I find his related brand of protagonist wish fulfillment more off-putting than any of the WoL hero worship from any other Scion, he's a less entertaining Valens to me, and he ruined several key MSQ moments of Endwalker for me, including but not limited to having him narrate each zone. Sure, now the game is going to obnoxiously shoehorn in overloaded references to him like they do Harchefaunt banking on the character's out-of-universe popularity which doesn't match the in-universe (or my) sympathies, but at least his character is gone.
Similarly, the treatment of Zenos as the irrelevant Team Rocket annoyance villain whose actual ennui and single-minded Combat Lust to Stave-off Meaninglessness took that all too-prevalent Japanese villain trope that I find the height of boredom and gave it a core reason to exist in the themes and story. From the very start of Stormblood I found every single scene with Zenos to be boring or eyerolling, but Endwalker raised my appreciation of the character - by having the WoL reject him as the pathetic dude that he was.
Loved all of Thavnair - especially that it provided yet another cultural backstory for a Raen player, the Indian inspiration and representation, the colors, music, the Arkasadora NPCs like Nidhana and Matsya, and the delight that is Vrtra.

I liked a lot but I think my favorite parts were In From the Cold (I am a HUGE stealth game fan) and the different perceptions of ourselves we were given in the Garlemald storyline.

Me either. He's basically an Ascian in everything but name. I hope Zero showing up leads to him coming back and getting a chance to be a traveling companion. I want a Nero to my Cid, someone who can help keep my feet on the ground. That a**-beating I gave him buried the hatchet and allowed me to serve him consequences for what he'd done in the past. We're even and we can be cool now for my WoL.
