Is there any way to report/avoid players who intentionally throw?

I just got into CC and I\\'ve been having a pretty good time with it, but I just had my first match where a teammate sat down in the spawn area and did nothing for the match. Is there a way to make sure I\\'m never teamed up with this player again?

Edit: I did blacklist the player, but I\\'m not sure if that makes them unable to pvp with me.

I mean I have a group of idiots who will just sit in the back of the start area and AFK when they are on my team. Like 2 or 3 of them. Don’t known them, they are very stupid, but since we communicate in CC, I can’t ask them what their damage is or call them out. I don’t know what is wrong with these people, but they can’t be avoided

This is the trend for me since few days.. i do CC "casual" (cause ranked doen't start anymore) and i found a LOT, like a lot of.. "letargic" (?) players.. they doen't do anything from start or they start not doing anything just after first attack on middle cristal..

I just had this happen to me twice in a row. I managed to take screenshots of the second person and reported them. This is the first time I've encountered this problem and it's pretty frustrating. I can handle it when people just don't know what they're doing or get glory-thirsty for kills and forget it's a team game. I can even handle it when people spam nice job and good match at moments where people have made mistakes.

But people just outright standing still and doing nothing on purpose or stay in the spawn area and walk around... it's not fun getting hammered 4 v 5.

Edit: Got a reply from the GM's, really really fast response actually. I'm grateful for that at least!

I'm pretty sure all my teammates are throwing. I'm getting the same people in every match who play like masters when they're on the other team and suddenly become mush brained when they get on my team.

Really sick of this. I need to have the ability to refuse to team with people who pull crap like that.

Yes, thats an issue. I saw entire groups (that are officilly known as group) in the same match but also hi rank players that either thrown by standing afk or just played like a first timer.

The process to report them needs to be simplified. I have had WHM who did 0 healing and ran in physically attacking like a melee dps. That's pretty obvious that they want to lose. I've seen team members just stand around (0 deaths) and the entire enemy team attacks one or two people who didn't get the memo that we're supposed to lose. Add that to the rampant cheat bots in pvp and it's going to kill pvp again. It'll soon go back to "almost nobody pvps in ffxiv." Devs, if you actually read this, it's past time to do something.

been playing ffxiv sence arr and did one season with pvp got my mount and walked away from it good luck with the new pvp.

There are 2 reasons why blacklist doesnt block the blacklisted person from duties:

- Your blacklist would always had to be send and updated to duty server. Something something "server stress". If it was only send once per log in, youd have to log out for new list to udpate..

- It could be abused in a way that people would pile on someone, whether real reason or not, making them unable to do duty finder content until they change DC or server.

Here is example: In Overwatch there used to be option that let others "avoid matching with this person". Worked out fine, but there was also sadly those that abused it so now we cant have nice things. How was it abused? There was story used as example why it was removed: there was really good sniper player who basically carried the teams.

So enemy players would get pissed and use the "avoid matching" function so they wouldnt be matched against this good player. Player now has 2 hour queues because of their skill, despite the game being at its most popular and usual match queue would last under 5 mins.


It would be used same way in XIV. Someone gets pissed because they think you didnt stand in crystal enough? Blocked. Someone gets pissed they think you are doing esports level sweaty kills? Blocked. Someone thinks you threw game because you picked bard for CC? Blocked.
And tadah, now you cant do CC anymore.

I wish there was easy way for this rather than relying on GM reports.

By the same measure, before afking folks should be allowed to report the feeders that run in 1v5, they aren't playing PVP the way I want, so they must be dealt with!
