Hi SE and forum posters,

I am happy that the SE developers have heard the voices of all the western players that have migrated to FFXIV and chosen to implement more difficult content.

I am really looking forward to the Criterion and Criterion (Savage) dungeon tiers.

But I would also like to suggest something that historically has been around since the start of video games.

Time Trial.

This would be a competative PvE endgame content and could be set up as follows.

The Time Trial could be divided into cups (for example bronze, silver, gold, platinum, crystal) and could be for different tiers of dungeons, trials and raids depending on the difficulty.

This could be set up as a PvE contest with seasons, same as for PvP. And only free company groups should be able to play them.

The free company would then need to collect as many cups as possible.

All the stats would be able to be seen on leaderboards in all the major cities.

The free company (and each player within) that has the most cups in each tier would at the end of the season receive rewards.

I think this is the missing link for end game content, because it would increase replayability many times. It would give some end game players the motivation to further perfect their gameplay beyond just nearly beating difficult content.

It would also be easy to implement I think and would be possible to implement for many types of content.

So what do you think?
