My point still stands. You were a teenager once with internet access. And? So was I. I am an adult now, and so I must handle myself like one.See, I'd agree but as someone who was once a teenager and had internet access, my parents wouldn't go and hunt down people that I flirted with or roleplayed with sexually. They'd put it on me to not engage with strangers on the internet and to act my age.
It's a two way street. You absolutely cannot control what people outside of your own family or household do. So, if your kid runs into someone who offers them ERP, you should educate them to say no and walk away instead of engaging.
Worry about what you can control rather than what you can't. Sexual content will exist no matter what, wherever you go on the internet that isn't an educational website made for those under the age of ten. Parents need to do their job and have conversations with their children about how to act appropriately online and how to recognize places that they shouldn't be engaging in.
