After reading so many pages and a lot of bullshit...

I want to say that at first pointing the finger at a more or less questionable practice, and believing it to be the major problem for in protecting children, is a bit of a misnomer. You can make the game as pure as possible so that even 3 year olds can play it there will always be a way to get an unhealthy side.

You have to understand one thing, to all parents who seek to protect their children, you can protect them as much as you want, put the necessary protections or even cut off the internet, your children will do certain things that you would never know. You think you know everything about them, but you can never know enough about what they can do. What you mistake for a growing child is often smarter than you think. You were young, you probably did anything when you were young, you grew up and now you have children. You hope they don't do the same shit you do and yet they do. Why ?

There is no miracle solution to educate a child, but you should never take them for idiot. Do you want to remove a practice that is considered immoral for your parenting principles, but have you educated your children while explaining to them why such a thing should not be done? Have you explained to them why such a practice can be dangerous, even if it seems innocent on the surface?

The simple fact of saying "no" to a child without explaining "why" will only create frustration in the latter towards you and misunderstanding of this prohibition. By dint of wanting to put barriers to your children you will just see them jumping your barriers. You've made mistakes, let them make them too, but it's up to you to make them aware of the danger involved.


I'm not going to tell you that you educate your children badly, but realize one thing. You know the dangers while they don't, instead of trying to hide the dangers, please teach them to recognize the dangers while presenting them with the risks involved.

In most states I did not know or they told me a lie is not a suitable defense depending on the age. No amount of receipts will protect you, and even if we by some grace you avoid criminal charges you will not win the court of public opinion.

Think of it less of protecting the kiddos and more so protecting yourself. I also think we should not have to be mindful of the kids but unfortunately we do because parents no longer are willing to take personal accountability for their actions and poor parenting. I get it is rough when many have families were both parents have to work, or have single parent that works two jobs etc . . . But that should not be an excuse parenting is a fulltime job watch your darn kid.

Until this happens please people protect yourself screw the kids, do it for yourself. I say this as someone that seen the backlash of a friend that had their life ruined due to a lying 16 year old.

Man's was told he should have known, it was obvious, kids lie, you are the adult. They avoided league action but they lost their job faced many civil issues etc . . .

BTW.:
Acusing sombody of a crime or let it appear somebody has commited any crime without prove IS A CRIME with , depending where you life, nasty jailtime/fines attached and yes calling this out even on the internet can you get into trouble.
Be careful with that.
Next is the ERP problem is something that is firstly not a big case and secondly already dealt with. Its against TOS = report. Done and in extreme cases SE is even obligated to report this to the authorities and NO you will not notified what happend.
What you want is a crusade and lets be honest you try hard but the catholic church is still king but has nothing more to say in that regard and that is a good thing.
If you have prove of ERP with minors report if you think not enough go to the police but beware - my first sentence: if you are talking moggle boggle you will get a fine or even jail time for this. Be sure you dont talk nonsense.
