In a game where age is anonymous and unverifiable, and where ERP is not moderated, and there are explicit mods available for, and there are publicly announced ERP venues for ANYONE to attend, we should not deprive teenagers of this experience ?

To be clear, I'm not accusing you, I'm trying to understand your justification.

They're saying they want to ban teens from the game entirely and bump the game to 18+ so they can erp publically lol, I am saying don't do that. If you want to erp, just keep it in private like 95% of people do.

Like I said, if you want to erp or even download those mods, you have to go out of your way for it, teens included. If teens are doing that.. well, they probably/likely have an idea of what they're getting into in the first place. I'm in crystal, I get it and I understand, but to be clear here most venues don't just jump straight into erp. You have to literally ask for it.

It all comes down to personal responsibility and judgment on those matters. I know a good amount of epers who vet people as much as possible so they can feel confident about it. But it's all based on honesty to begin with.

When I say "online experience", I'm just talking about general XIV stuff - MSQ, duties, crafting, whatever. You know, the general game. The person I'm replying to just doesn't want teenagers on XIV to begin with, which is what I'm contending.
