I had two problems with End walker. Meteion and nihilism. Both were boring/too edgy. Boo hoo, there is no objective meaning to life, so die then, don't mess it up for the rest of us that want to create meaning.

This. The double standard between Ascians and Venat (even Hermes) was so jarring. It seems like anything bad that happens to the Ancients was deserved, but if it happens to the sundered it's an unforgivable atrocity. Even the Omega quests didn't do enough to alleviate that.
I don't know how this got past their ethics department. Only in FFXIV are the people responsible for the eradication of their race (or near enough to it) considered to have a point or be a heroine for it.
+1 endwalker msq is trash and I wish I never experienced it

So just out of curiosity OP is this your first final fantasy game? Cause at this point this is a well known trope of the franchise.
I came into this expansion expecting Zodiark to not be the final boss. All that hype around him at least to me screamed misdirection. Especially when you think of the Shadowbringers reveal that he and Hydaelyn both are primals. There was no way we were going to face a primal for final boss, we’ve demolished so many of them already it would have been a let down for the final boss of the expansion to be a primal, let alone one that didnt have it’s full power and lost it’s original heart

I agree with your first point. I literally said WTF when Zodiark was revealed and so bland to fight.

I didn't say that it's the worst that the forums had ever been - I said that the forums are the worst part of Endwalker.

Mch and warrior outrage, the complaints of SE cashing in on nostalgia with the omega raids, raubahn savage, aether current taxi outrage, the rage at the choice to split the ala mhigo storyline half way through, the yshtola death fake out… ahhh good times
