Until the game shuts down!
Until the game shuts down!

I see a lot of plots to grab.
Ah yeah, but you aren't interested in "one" plot, you are aiming at THAT special and flashy 20 or 50 milion plot near the beach/lake.
Well know this: when you have an house and teleport to it, you only see a part of the garden and the door, the rest doesn't matter.

Nah I've spent a lot of time on my front yard actuallyI see a lot of plots to grab.

Even have a treehouse I can sit on that overlooks the only nice part of the Goblet
Which I'm stuck in because it was literally the only place with a house available before Ishgard (and still took me 11+ hours of placard clicking and sheer dumb luck on a relocation to move from a goblet small to a goblet medium)
Actually I'd have to look again, last I checked there weren't many plots left at all on Behemoth

I didnt care which plot i would get, i went for a small one every time, didnt care about location, but in the end, all lottery cycles i didnt end up with one. The 2 best chances were a 50% and 25% one, the rest was all <1%.I see a lot of plots to grab.

Plenty of people are already happy with a small one. A medium or large is nice, and you might have the gil for it, but if the odds for a small one are better, you might still just go for that.

the OP talked about 150+ bets for each free plot but there will not be 22 x 150+ = 3300 players bidding for these plots.
On the other hand I'm 100% sure there will be hundreds (300+) bidding for the few available M size plots. I'm sure because a lot of owners of a small house will be tempted to "upgrade":
- It's free of risks (you don't lose money),
- it takes little time,
- it gives (if you are the winner) a good prize.
- it's fair (you cannot offer more for a better chance to win, for example)
In short it's the ideal bet.
Right now there are 2 problems:
- autodemolition is off
- the bet has only benefits.

You would rather sit in one location spamming a placard for 8 hours+? If you don't like it buy an apartment or room from your FC.So, to like... state the obvious, every lottery from here on out is going to be very long odds of winning.
Like... 150-1 odds or much worse.
Is this really the system you envisioned to 'solve' the housing problems? How exactly is this better than clicking a placard against FAR LESS than 150-1 odds.... or worse.
How about keep adding wards to every housing district until its nowhere close to 150 or more people bidding on a single plot. Whats the excuse... spaghetti database issues? I'm not asking for a plot for everyone but 150, or worse, bidding on a single lot... shouldnt be left as the standard either.
they quiet literally offered a suggestion bozo, and nowhere did they mention anything about placarads.
SE should add more wards, or implement instanced housing for houses (no not apartments)
Yes, I very much would rather be clicking a placard against other players for land. The odd's of success were far greater for me personally.
I don't want an apartment.
I do have an FC room... of the FC house I bought... by making my own FC.... and adding alts.... and cheesing the system for land.... because I saw this BS coming LONG ago.
Empy w15,p37, Lamia, come by anytime

I didn't mean empty as in not bought. I meant land aquired with no estate hall build. There is for example one like that in my friends ward on Twintania. So land has owner since housing district dropped but they never used it to a point of not even building a house in the first place.

Ah I was not aware the auto demolition halt also included empty plots.I didn't mean empty as in not bought. I meant land aquired with no estate hall build.
