But it's true though. For anyone not hating themselves enough to actually torture themselves this did improve the odds. It hasnt fixed the supply issue of course but that wasnt the point of the lottery change. The old system sucked and I never won anything from it, but the new system sucks too and has objectively worse odds.
Saying the odds are better now, because you couldn't even participate in the old system is a myopic way of coming at this discourse. From this standpoint, literally any system they implemented would be an improvement to you since you were never able to engage with the predecessor anyway. You're stuck defending modern-trash because the trash that came before it was less accessible trash. Why do that to yourself? Both systems are toxic garbage for different reasons.
So people that get more luck need to have more adge?It decreased YOUR chances. It decreased the chances of people "with the time to spam placards". But as you guys constantly hammer this over and over and over and over, this is a game that is designed to appeal to everyone and people with more time to spare shouldn't have an edge on content accessibility ever.
But I guess that only applies when it doesn't benefit your specific needs. So interesting to see the wholesome XIV community's true colors sometimes.
I spend a ton of time at my house though. Great investment.
I get the disappointment though, I'd been in every lottery and lost them all til this most recent.

SE would be taking a huge risk by adding another MMO to their stable. It would be competing with FFXIV and that would likely cause problems for both MMOs. Better that they go Anet's route and upgrade FFXIV in a serious way, like Anet did with GW2.

I like this but your idea cost money and as far we know SE will not, even if its costing their life, invest back into this game--- except when NFT's are comming.
When I saw that we were going from Broil III at 290 potency in ShB to Broil IV at 295 potency in EW, I was shaking with how excited I was. I couldn't believe they were so generous with a whole 5 potency. I'm going to probably scream in excitement when 7.0 comes out and Broil V hits 300 potency, playing SCH going to be WILD once it hits 300!!!
Under the old system I sat at my desk mashing the X button on my controller repeatedly. I tabbed out for five seconds to change songs, and I lost a house.
System kinda sucked, I'd been there for like 5 hours.

today i just found out a friend had bought a large private house,
then made a "solo" FC, and bought a second large house... solo ... just this, this shouldnt be allowed ...
there should be some kind of minimum requirement as a fc to bid on a large house, like 10 minimum ppl or something idk ...
ofc its allowed by the system in place and not against any rule, but still ...
kinda annoying
