For example, the desire for an outdoor space can be achieved via balconies or a garden space, each might offer different opportunities to address things and one might be more effective than the other so it's simpler to just leave it open rather than focusing on any specific solution.
The list was there for your reference. This is what an apartment has. This is how it differs from a house.

I was leaving it up to you to say what in those differences has made you decide that you will only accept a house and refuse an apartment.

There were two more differences left off my list. One was pointed out by Siniztor (thank you!) - you cannot add tenants to an apartment.

The other is that apartments are not subject to demolition. Houses are.

If the developers don't get feedback about why players are not happy with apartments and only want houses despite some of the benefits included with apartments, they're left in the dark about how to improve things. They could implement changes just for the player base to respond "we don't want that".

We've already got wish lists about housing. They've been getting posted for years. Some of those suggestions have been implemented since. Most haven't. There's nothing wrong with wish lists when it gives the developers a better idea of what players are looking for. And sometimes you need to be specific for them to understand where the problem lies.
