Same I am waiting too for the hempen sets ^^', but since some players are lobbying for race locked gears, I am not sure that they will do it.

That ship sailed when they didn't bother to make racial unique hempen sets for viera or hrothgar. Free the hempen sets!

One of the things I regret with the new races is the fact they did not make them. There are so many potentially cool outfits they could have drawn from to give Viera and Hroths their own.

I don't honestly think it has anything to do with making things racial unique, but rather having a good excuse to not do it.

Yes, if they were so intent on keeping things "racial unique" the very least they could have done was expand the options for viera and hrothgar. God knows they need them.

Many players want to maintain a professional relationship with the company we do business with, not get caught up in a personality cult or be pressured into silence based on something players unrelated to us may or may not be doing. Even if it isn't intentional, crying on camera is something I could do without seeing - it's awkward and does feel a tad emotionally manipulative to me.

Yoshi-P would do well, I think, to realise that whenever he makes such a public statement or display it is then exploited as a bludgeon to try and deflect and silence any criticism whatsoever towards the game and development team.

Given that large businesses spend a fortune on PR and carefully go over every statement released to the public in advance, I also find myself not entirely convinced that it isn't intentional.

That's just the impression I get, though. I might be wrong - but I can see why such things are becoming an irritant to some people.

so? there is nothing wrong with disliking someone, you just want the attention of publicly saying it. so, claps for you.

it is fine to dislike someone, it is impossible to be universally liked, thats a fact of life, so not sure why you think your opinion is groundbreaking. people deserve respect, all of us, basic human respect, which I think where most criticism falls flat. in general, most game criticism stems from not caring to bother with understanding where the problems may be in implementing what in one persons, or a group of someones, opinion about what would be best for the game in THEIR view.

at the end of the day, Yoshi-P has a job, and he does it to the best of his ability, do you have to like him? not at all. but I am sure he answers to more than just the players, he does what he can and doesnt do things just to spite you.

I personally like him a lot and the team. Their love of the game is pretty evident to me when I see them in Live Letters and major events. I can't compare to other games given I don't really play other mmo's so no clue how their teams are or how they interact with their communities.

I don't like Yoshi-p and most of the Dev team since SHB, only the Art team have my full respect since is the only team i see they keep working hard. What bother me the most about Yoshi-p is he just tell us to give them feedback and they aim to fullfill our expectations at the same time he say "i know you want this but this is the direction we are taking now" or just simply ignore our feedback complety leading to ridiculous situations where he did had no idea about DRK request or complety altered Healers questions to say stupid things like "if you want more challenging content go to play ultimate".

The main point is he is disconected from the comunity, he force us to dealt with "his direction" of the game he has taken since SHB then proceed to ignore every feedback of the most afected jobs while he keep doing more and more of the same and when the playerbase is actually tired of waiting years for not only being noticed but expect changes that never come and start being agresive against them he just come and say "please be nice" while at the same time he just keep doing nothing and keep ignoring the constant calls agaisnt his direction of the game, he is totally abussing of the good fate of the player base right now and i find that disgusting, yeah it would be ideal if there was no need of getting into agresive manners but is a situation they have put themselfs, ppl don't have eternal patience and they just wanna enjoy the game how they use to before this, it's not ok waiting years only to find next expansion will be the same behavior.

Personally I have zero issue with the man.
I have some but they're relatively minor compared to my issues with its cult and SE économique model and people fighting to have stuff added in mog shop.

Seriously it's the only game I have seen or heard about being pay to play, subscription, with expansions and a cash shop.

And the cash shop compared to other games is ridiculously expensive. And not all stuff are account wide.

My issue with him specifically would be the loss of classes identity I guess ?
