My only guess why they would stick to these recent job changes is because they already planned future skills/traits for the jobs, so reverting things, would be a greater set back.

Yeah, just like they had plans for healers when they destroyed them in ShB? Still waiting for something more than glare. It's fine if your job is absolutely horrible to play for years right? It's gonna get better in X.0! This is an absolute pants on heads idiotic way to change things, doubly so after they have demonstrably shown 0 plans or roadmap regarding future job changes, and I don't understand how anyone could get behind it.

And also just from casual player perspective i can't imagine getting better gear in dungeon/normal raids/alliance raids/tome gear and seeing similar wet noodle 25k damage thats grotesquely shows up in bigger font. Whats the point of having "% crit" name if its not really a crit?

We have to also remember MMORPG's is not just for the 3% of players in the top but also for dirty casuals like me.

The thing is, if you're a casual playing easier content you can literally ignore these buttons and/or take them off your bar and you won't lose out on anything. It will not stop you from clearing anything or even doing decent damage, you'll be able to do MSQ content, roulettes and even things like Unreal and EX fights. When you take this into account there's no good reason to prune things and make it worse for players who do care about optimizing.

You're extrapolating quite a lot from that statement because it fits what you want to believe because you want to be angry....

The statement doesn't say that they won't give Kaiten back and if they didn't give a shit then they wouldn't take the time to explain things to us or delay other reworks due to the negative response.
I see people talk about the whole crit thing but we've had auto-crits removed before in the past ( see Kassatsu as an example ).
He should be able to talk about crit as a game mechanic without people putting words in his mouth and reading things into it because people obsess about Kaiten 24/7.

But it's getting extremely tiresome with this excessive levels of negativity and just blatant intentional outrage for the sake of outrage.

Incorrect. Hagakure and Energy Drain were removed from the game at the start of ShB (5.0). They were returned in 5.08, which wasn't even a major patch, but rather the release of the savage raids for Eden 1-4. So there is absolutely precedent.

Yes and Energy Drain was returned specifically because people asked for it.
Just because people don't get what they want all the time or immediately doesn't mean that they're not listening.
Altho if people want to be listened to then these types of threads are completely counter-productive, the devs have said many times that they ignore and stop reading comments that are disrespectful and aggressive towards them and that the fastest way of being listened to is to be respectful.

People behave like toddlers then wonder why they're not being heard.
If people actually want the devs to read their comment then skip the hyperbole and weird personal attacks.

Then there may be a shred of hope after all, unless too much time has passed already in comparison to them. It could also get nerfed like they were.

Imagine the struggle healers get when they get him in dungeons. He probably doesn't know that some skills reduce damage he takes and that there are buttons that can hit multiple enemies at same time. And after healer rescues him and pulls more he doesn't take mobs and complains that hes a tank and sets the PACE.

This dude trolls and we yet to see mods take action on him.

There were another dude who trolled SAM players like they deserve these changes and clearly used fflogs data as reference why they deserved it. He was not banned btw, atleast he cooled down.

And to no surprise there are mods on these forum but they are only active in Japan section sadly.
