That's still community collaboration.
You should see the fishing Discord on new patch drops.
yeah the people that are interested join the the community/discord to talk behind the scenes to plan the website content. the people that just want the info use the site and implement it in game. still community collaboration.
there is a certain amount of out of game discussion expected with an MMO. Not everything can or should be in game.

More likely it cause you can shift the time for plants with fertilizer, while the regular timers are set from the start.
If you want a real answer: Plants in real life offer way more information visually than the FFXIV engine could ever hope to achieve. You can tell if the soil is bad, if there is too much/not enough water, if there are parasites, if the plant is sick, if the plant is getting the proper sunlight, etc. There's actually a lot more than purple fog in a real plant. You'll live if there's a timer.

I said it once and I'll say it again, stop turning every single system in the game into a baby version or a spreadsheet for convenience's sake. I will die on this hill. lolIf you want a real answer: Plants in real life offer way more information visually than the FFXIV engine could ever hope to achieve. I would tend to agree. at this point some people will only be happy when the game is solo and plays itself so you dont have to log in
