Stuck in infinite loading after crash during LotA Alliance Raid, constant dx11 crashes

Hi! I've been playing FFXIV for around a month or two now, and I've always suffered repeated crashes, with the crashes most often occurring within highly populated areas (ie: New Gridania, Limsa Lominsa (lower and upper decks), Ul'dah). Originally I was able to solve this issue by downgrading my graphics, playing on DirectX 9, and setting display limits (the character and object quantity) to minimum. While these changes worked for a while, last night when I was doing an Alliance Raid (Labyrinth of the Ancients) I suffered repeated crashes, and now when I try to log into my WOL I am met with either an infinite loading screen or a crash.

I've done almost everything I've found on the forums, FAQ, and internet but to no avail. My computer not only meets, but is above the recommended specs to play FFXIV. Upon creating a new character I am able to run the game at max settings at a consistent 90 fps (though I lowered it to a max of 60 fps). Additionally, my desktop and monitors support DirectX 11!

And, furthermore, my main WOL seems to be locked in the Labyrinth of the Ancients, but since I'm met with an infinite loading screen I'm not sure how to get them out of the instance! During the Alliance Raid I was able to log in before crashing, though it would still display my party's models and I was able to move around and heal before getting to the next area, wherein I wouldn't be able to advance. And after the Alliance Raid I was met with the infinite loading screens.

I would really appreciate help on this, as I'm really confused and overwhelmed and don't know how I can fix these issues! I am able to provide more information if needed.. Thank you so much!!

There are a number of situations that can cause the error you are describing. Please try the following troubleshooting methods in order to resolve the issue:

    - Check to make sure that your PC meets the minimum system requirements. Be aware that integrated graphics cards (e.g. Intel HD graphics) are not supported. If so, try adjusting various graphical settings, resolutions and switching between windowed and fullscreen to see if this affects the issue.

    - Update your Windows Operating System using Windows Update. Make sure to install any optional updates as these aren't installed automatically.

    - Update/reinstall your graphics card drivers (preferably a clean install)

    - Disable all programs/overlays running in the background

    - Make sure your anti-virus software has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV

    - Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your GPU or CPU. Check that any fans or vents aren't being blocked.

    - Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system (Reshade, Nvidia Freestyle, etc.). Also, remove any custom configurations made using driver-level programs (Nvidia Control Panel, Radeon Crimson).

    - Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.

    - Perform a clean boot by doing the following: Open the Task Manager and select the 'Start Up' Tab. disable everything here and restart the PC.

Should the issue still persist after attempting all the listed troubleshooting, we advise that you reinstall the game (make sure to remove or rename the 'Final Fantasy XIV' folder in the 'My Documents' > 'My Games' folder). You can re-download the game client at the following link. : http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/playersdownload/na

We recommend that the game be installed on the C: drive, as installing it on any drive that is not the default may cause more problems.

If the issue is still present after the reinstallation of the game, please respond to this email with a FINAL FANTASY XIV System Report. On the game launcher, select 'Config' option and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
I followed every recommendation here, as well as a complete uninstall from my D: drive and install to my C: drive, which seemed to be the fix. Hopefully that helps other people who might have this issue!
