Raiden already has a small bot army, is it even worth reporting?

As the title says pretty much, not even a week into the new servers and Raiden already has a small bot army. I can't talk about the other three servers added for European players but I'm going to assume it's the same situation.

It really threw me off at first when I encountered one. I was doing some level 30-something MSQ and a mob I was about to kill ended up in combat with another player that I never once saw around me. This happened a few times and upon targeting them, I couldn't see them. The name was complete gibberish also and looked like a face had smacked a keyboard a few times. Likewise I went into Limsa Lominsa once and saw a gibberish name TP in and then immediately fall under the map.

Is it even worth reporting them given how many exist on existing servers and the large number, must be around 100, I've seen in player search already within a few days of Raiden opening? What's even the correct way of reporting bots in this game as well? In WoW there was an easy right-click report option for players you suspected were cheating, seems like I have to manually write tickets here which seems more effort than it's worth.

well, worth or not, I always report them whenever I see them.

The best way to confront them is by not buying any gil from websites. They only exists to catch your money. If we don't feed them, they cease to continue.
I know they will keep coming back no matter the reports, but, at least, I do my part.

All servers have those I’m afraid. Reporting is a waste of time, they are barely acted upon.

SE posts that report every week (usually on Thursdays).

The company does take action but it's a mostly futile battle when the bots are back in action on new accounts almost immediately.

If you don't feel that it's worth your time to report them, then don't worry about it. They do have their ways of detecting bots. Player reports are probably more useful when it comes to less common types of botting activity (reporting the market bots, Diadem bots and the like).

You do know SE policy is to allow them to disrupt the economy. They allow bots to grow and grow and move billions of gil before they act. I have more hope that fake/stolen CC they are probably using gets the account banned.

I feel like lately you only tend to see the masses of low level bots on the new servers.

Established servers seem to have fallen into abusing Eureka bunnies or crafting/gathering as their go-to methods of gil farming.

This. Reporting anyone for anything is such a chore in this game. You often fill out the form and then a week later get a message back asking for the same info you sent previously.

I can't help but wonder if SE just lets the bots go anyways. The games popular enough at this point. Why should they really care? As long as they occasionally take some action they can pretend they're in charge and upholding their rules.
