Can I Not Use my GC Uniform For Glamour?

Hi, my character is a lvl 52 dragoon, lvl 20 pugilist. I just found out I can buy an Order of the Twin Adder uniform. It requires level 20, I'm level 20, and all classes can wear it. However, when I put it on a glamour plate, it says that it's incompatible for glamour with my race, class, gender combo? Why is this? I'm a member of the same GC. Any help would be appreciated.

According to your lodestone, your PUG is still level 12, once you reach lvl 20 on your PUG you should be able to, your DRG should be able to wear it just fone though! try trying it on as a DRG

I'm a level 21 pugilist for sure. When I mouse over the GC uniform items, all is golden, but when I try to use them for glamour, I get errors. The little X has disappeared from the chest piece on my glamour plate, but the other 3 pieces are still incompatible. I'm not sure what is going on in the background that is making them not qualify.

Edit: Is it because my gear is lower than level 20? My chest is lvl 20.

It is. You cannot glamour a piece of gear to appear as another piece of level higher than it.

Thank you. I mainly play WoW and it doesn't have that kind of restriction. I'm still getting used to FF14's systems.

No worries, mate. And yeah, the restriction doesn't make a huge amount of sense, given tanks in bikinis and such, but /shrug.
