Frontline queues

Still new to frontlines and i really REALLY want to know.. why does the queue just up and become nonexisant at exactly 1am? I can't be the only night gamer, please get in queue im so close to my archfiend armor

if you want fast queue go for CC casual mode and it also give serie exp for archfiend armor. Frontline is usually very quite at night though also depend on data center.

Because it needs 71 other people to queue into. And the few night birds apparently are busy with other stuff.

72 people, that's equivalent to three alliance raids, nine standard raids, or eighteen dungeons.

The large majority of people in frontlines only queue for the roulette for the exp. Obviously the queue is going to die at 1am.

As others have said, off-peak hours are going to have longer queues because few people are online and the even fewer people that want to play Frontline will have trouble filling 72 slots. I sometimes have the itch to place early in the morning, and my longest queue was 72 minutes before I had to log out.

If you can't play during peak hours, I usually have good luck finding a game within the hour before reset.

It also doesn't help that they removed the smaller frontlines. It used to pop with like 24 people and a shrunk down version of maps when it couldn't find 72 people.

With several servers to pick from and i cant be the only nocturnal person it shouldnt take 300 minutes i think. And even at 8am its still over an hour for a queue. And i HATE cc. Wont run it anymore.

Unfortunately, not a lot of people play PVP in FFXIV. I heard it's worse on Crystal than it is on Aether. And in something like Frontline, people constantly leaving the queue because of any wait could mean it takes a long time to hit the 72-player mark in off-peak hours.

Like I said, frontlines has never been popular in this game. Before the inclusion of exp, frontlines basically never popped, so its not even remotely surprising that in the middle of the night the queue is empty.
