Yes, I just think some people are overreacting a bit here.TBH - and I know you're being facetious but bear with me here - the term "Female" isn't in itself weird or wrong. Infact it's used all the time by the scientific community in regards to discussion of specific anatomical stuff, or mental illnesses, etc.
It's all about context.
Just like how, as an example, it's not weird if a person just so happens to like Neon Genesis Evangelion. Go ahead, it's a good anime and a lovely piece of critical media! But lets say they start talking about how Shinji is their spirit animal, and how they think the Joker is misunderstood. This then paints a different picture. Same with the usage of the term "Female." On its own its fine - I know plenty of women who hate the term female, and plenty of women who *use* the term female. It's when its paired with a bunch of other unsavory stuff that the term itself stands out. Does that make any sense, at all?
