+1 I agree, while summoners toolkit was bloated and the rotation "could" have been described as too unforgiving and long, taking everything that made the job what it was and getting rid of it in favour of a system where you press a single button 90% of the time was not the way to go. There is practically 0 skill expression in the new build, and it feels very unsatisfying to play. Maybe in future updates as more gets added to it, itll become better but I'd rather they kept the DoT gameplay. I much preferred that.

Obviously the new summons are cool, it's a shame that discussions within XIV are a 0 sum game. You either have X or Y. Complex or easy. Why not both? Why not keep the dots and rework how the summons functioned? Instead of taking a tactical nuke to the job and blowing it up. I've yet to meet a pre-6.0 summoner main who likes these changes. The only people I see who like them are the ones who picked the job up after Endwalker came out.
