Armor Set Crossplay Help

Honestly, it's great that we're able to play this game on console AND PC without having to create different characters, but I wish they would improve on the saving feature. Mainly revolving around armor sets. It honestly annoying and time consuming that every time I take my progress from PC and move over to console, I have to manually reassign my gear to each job when I log on. I want to say the same thing about hot bars, but I can least understand those as the UI for both versions of the game is vastly different. The armor sets though, I feel like that should be a no brainer and just have the sets update between platforms since literally everything else is saved. It primarily the main reason why I been sticking to PC when I play this game instead of the platform I started this game on with my friends. Is there really no way to keeps the sets in tact between switching platforms?

Gear sets are saved locally. You can use the backup and restore feature on the character select page, but that is the only way.
