Small Suggestion: Avoid players in CC.

Can we have an option to mute/avoid some players who are just entering the match and can't stop spamming the nice job/good match macro? even blacklisting those is not working, have a system where you can simply avoid having xxx amount of players in your team, even limit it to say 4-5 players per day.

    Thank you.

If it don't apply, let it fly.

On the other hand, if you do something stupid like throw yourself at the enemy team 1v5 and get destroyed and someone says "Nice Job" sarcastically, then you have no one to blame but yourself.

I find this issue hilarious. This is just how gamers are and how people want to express themselves. Giant companies doing damage control after being taken over slowly by genius HR consults who suggest turning off certain emotes to make the community "less toxic". How out of touch can one be? So first people got punished and banned for using rude language. To avoid said punishments, they just started using tools provided by the game, inside the game; emotes. "Can't ban me for just playing the game, right?" "I just move over your dead body (ingame) and spam the sit/stand up buttons... tea bagging. Oh man so toxic, so mean, unaccetable. Smug use of a sarcastic "/gooooood jooooooob oh wow man you are soooo good" is the new toxic. What's next? Well you gave them a little rope and soon they will hang you with it, kiss all emotes goodbye. /grin /laugh /stare all soon to be labelled "mean, toxic, problematic". How does one prove intend and context? Imagine being unaware of this stuff, and just a new innocent player. You jump in the game, enjoying the journey, meet some random players and /smile at them. Hours later you got mail: banned. What?! Context doesn't matter. It's all about how the other player took it, how they felt about it on a subjective level.

Welcome to the new brave clown world of online gaming. I seriously hope this insanity stops, every dev team puts their foot down to HR/PR demands and says Hell no, so we can get some thick skin growing wholesome rugged 1995-2005 gaming etiquettes back without everything having to be a community breaking vicious never ending cycle of everyone being a hyper sensitive snowflake that wants to see the world burn with everyone in it banned, for whatever they did/said/emoted in a game. Absolutely pathetic era we are in. Can't but laugh and shake my head at this.

Here's some advice for the lead execs:
Stop banning people for everything. Give players better tools to mute/ignore/block/filter others on their end, on a subjective level. Tell players you gave them all the tools to do so, "govern yourself", if you see/hear anything you don't like, deal with it. Stop coming to us crying every minute wasting our time. We got a thousand moderators working on these petty complaints. You can't deal with something someone said yourself? What are you 4?? Are they hacking? Cheating? Botting? No. They what? They used /grin over your corpse after they killed you in pvp? STOP THE PRESS, get the FBI involved right now!! DEFCON 4!! MY god.

Just because you can't deal with toxicity doesn't mean mommy and daddy need to implement a system that can be abused and misused by people for uses other than it's absolutely, wonderful, thoughtful, moral, ethical, altruistic, and utopian intentions. Snap a finger and all the bad things will go away!

    Nope.

    Report and move on.

Not everything wrong is illegal, rules aren't always enforced. Sometimes it's up to us as adults to put on our big boy/girl pants and just deal with it. Especially in something like a video game. People like you will never have enough room for all the people you need to add to this feature.

If they ever add this, I already have a list of people I don't want on my team for just being bad at the game. On the other hand, some people might not even get into games as more and more people add them to the block list lol.

I do find it annoying because it’s telling me that the player sucks at their role and causing a loss in the match. Playing so many, I just end up seeing that pattern. Sometimes I saw the opponent HP near ko…….and a few seconds they recovered and ko 1 of the group then the spams start to happen. It sucks so bad when you’re the SCH giving them steroids and they still deflate…

Report them for chat spamming if they do it a lot. GMs will investigate and if a pattern of behavior is found, they'll pull the player aside and talk to them about it. I think the specific term they use is "chat flooding," so I'd use that exact term when making the report. It's something that is against ToS and Yoshida did put that letter on the Lodestone a while back after a couple weeks of CC revealed that a lot of players were being real dicks about it.

Imagine using a emote too often. Some GM having to sit there watching players like "one nice job, two nice job... fifteen nice job OKAY THAT'S IT, that's enough" and starts giving a player the talk. Where does it stop? Slide right into not being active enough, slacking, just being bad at the game or pvp, having a GM backseat your gameplay, creepy over the shoulder breathing, going off like "omg your rotation is weak dude, no not like that, WRONG SKILL, bad timing man are you intentionally throwing the game? Why didn't you interrupt that heal? You need to be better! Stop ruining the game for others! You're so bad! Worst player ever!" then ironically throws a sarcastic "You lost the match again, good job, dude!" followed by the epiphany of "wait... am I the bad guy??" --- and thus the circle is complete. Feel free to do a comic strip meme about that situation.

In all seriousness, letting things be water off the ducks back does wonders for this sort of situation and future ones.

How about a fix that if a player sits around and does nothing for too long or spams rudely, they can be kicked with a penalty and bonus stats are applied tot he team with a smaller number.

I also think there should be a way that one player or two can change the outcome depending on how good they are based on their skill. Right now PvP is very heavily based on a whole team having to work together to gang up on one person and widdle down the other team to win. You're strongly having to rely on your teammates and forced to work with them without any other way to change the winning outcome. I personally feel it's the main reason why people get so frustrated because they feel they have no control other than hope they have a good team or fighting against a worse team.

A serious and very easy solution to all this, it's so simple very few ever even thought of it:
You reward players based on their performance.
No black and white all or nothing system, or 1st 2nd 3rd places with fixed rates.
You convert dmg/healing/assists/alive/object time etc straight into a players score that you cash in on the fly.
With a bonus multiplier to see a match to the end.

Now it doesn't matter that much if your team has a few lazy rotten eggs.
You can still do your best, improvise and get rewarded without having a fully wasted match.
Ofc the winning side will get some extra points and rewards,
but at least it's nothing near as bad as a full either or/win or lose scenario.
