when I think in the new areas for the game, I imagine south america themed places. Like, a huge forest with some ruins inside, a new type of community with their proper archtecture and culture and new jobs like this.

(and, maybe, new variations for some creatures, like black moogles ). And maybe with just another one race to play with?

For the new jobs, I think Ranger using an animal companion like your hawk, but not only... at some point the ranger could use other animal for high lv skills.

Beside Ranger, I can easily imagine a tanker-like job based on the Warden from D&D 5. In this job the char changes body parts into some aspect of nature (like oak skin, big fingers like roots for some attacks and so on). And maybe another healer job, the Druid. Which could bring some spiritual animal aspects to join the fight and help the team in their spells.

When i was reading your initial post, I remembered those things
