MY Dps job wishlist of Future

Hunter/Wayfarer - Crossbow range dps with a pet
Marksmen - Rifle user
Gunslinger - dual pistol wielder
Crusader/Holy Knight - 2 handed mace wielder
Berserker - Dual one handed axes

So far my ideas got plenty more too in my dome sitting if you have your own feel free to post or if you have questions or suggestion how each of these would work gameplay wise feel free to add as well

From these ideas, I can see Gunslinger, Crusader and Berserker... I kind of wondered if these jobs could be sisters to Machinist, Paladin and Warrior respectively, but without necessarily being linked like Summoner and Scholar.

My personal job wish list would be to take some time off from new jobs and to instead put those resources into existing jobs (RIP job quests).

(Of course, I know that that's not realistic—new jobs are big expansion draws for people.)

Ah yes, with a pet. That thing this dev team is famous for loving so much, lol.

For me personally, all I want is blitzballer as a ranged dps. I will be content in this game forever if that happens, and would fully switch to being a ranged dps main.

Crossbows are an underrepresented weapon in games imo, I think it'd be cool.
Maybe some '' Vampire Hunter '' themed crossbow wielder ( steampunk/ victorian fashion ).

Other than that I just really want a sniper theme, I rly liked Sniper Imperial Agent in SWTOR.

I'd like a Green/time mage healer class.
Maybe a class like Vincent from FF7 where you can change into diff beasts.

Corsair can be brought back using both Gun and Sword weapon as a DPS Job. It is one of the iconic weapon types for Pirate jobs.

They did well to bring back Scythe Dark Knight from FF11 as Reaper into FF14 so it is a matter of what path they want to deal with Corsair as well with gameplay design and weapons of choice.

From these ideas, I can see Gunslinger, Crusader and Berserker... I kind of wondered if these jobs could be sisters to Machinist, Paladin and Warrior respectively, but without necessarily being linked like Summoner and Scholar.

The Season 2 storyline does provide opportunity for lore setting as well since the New World is assumed potentially one of the focus for Season 2.

We know certain part of the New World is themed around colonization of America so it will be no surprise if there was a wild west theme location as well which will be a ideal location for Gunslinger origins as a example.

Not to mention how the Unknown regions are handled to be intentionally unknown in current events so they can provide many paths to what themes the Unknown regions focus on.

Berserker - Dual one handed axes

I honestly will prefer Berserker as the Greatsword DPS job they have for the boss fight against the Berserker Boss.

On the other hand, Dual Axes is something I will like to see as the Viking Job.
