Over the past couple of weeks, I've known of the issue of audio issues in FFXIV for a while and heard that the issue was being looked into.

Up until that point, I had only had sporadic issues with the loss of audio since disabling other players' combat animations a marked decrease from before.

However, since I researched those weeks ago, my audio drops have increased and carry no internal ability within the game to reset the sound requiring a restart of the FFXIV client which fixes it until a trigger occurs again.

I've isolated the issue to two trigger events. The most frequent and frustrating of the two has to do with my wireless Bluetooth headset. If my headset shuts off to conserve power, when it turns back on FFXIV seems to have no way of self-correcting back to the default audio output and the computer recognizes no sound coming from the client in the computer Volume Mixer display.

The other issue tends to come with some issue with input/output overload. At first, I had thought it was the internet or graphical hardware issues but after increasing my bandwidth as well as upgrading my graphics card the issue still persists with all drivers up to date, my graphics set to low, as well as reinstallation of the game software.

My hardware on paper should not even require this much degradation on performance. My system is built up from the following parts:
