See the NBN, Telstra is no longer a service providor in any way. The NBN is the service providor and ISP, Telstra is a RETAIL service that handles plans etc, they have NOTHING to do with the infrastructure.

    Nothing.
Sorry, this time you are wrong.

NBN only own the infrastructure from your houses pit to one of the 121 POI's throughout the country. After that, your isp runs the data from the NBN POI to their gateways and on to other RSP networks including NTT. This is why ABB customers are not affected. Just anyone that gets routed through the Telstra networks - and this includes people in New Zealand who don't even touch the NBN.

"POIs are where the RSP networks (networks built and operated by retail service providers) connect to the nbn™ network, which in turn connects to the end user." - https://www.nbnco.com.au/blog/the-nb...he-nbn-network - "This is an important point to remember – the nbn™ network sits between the POI and the end user’s premises. It is not responsible for all internet traffic transmission within Australia."

Telstra own the routers in Kent Street, not NBN. Telstra are the correct people to speak to.
