I play all roles except caster. SCH for most of last season, now SCH, DRK, WAR, PLD, MNK, NIN, BRD, and I'll probably add in RPR since the playstyle will probably suit me.Gonna disagree with you. It does what it suppose to until you use it. After you use it, you have a chance of having someone stun you right after breaking free. Your only other option is to use barrier and once you do that you are a sitting flag to be jumped on. It basically tells other players you are at your last resort and once you lose it, you will be targeted by the other entire team.
Can I ask what do you play as? Because if you're a tank, that would explain a lot cause I can get away with that too when I play my PLD. But when I play anything else, I'm gonna tell you right now that doesn't always work out. healers and DPS classes can feel pretty squishy if stunned for too long. If you manage to get time to hold it off purify, you can get the other team to cast all their stuns on you thinking you'd use it right away but there's also a good chance someone waited till you broke free or your current stun wore off.
In the end, the issue is you can keep someone stunned and incapable of escaping for a long period. Especially if the other team manages to time it right. I've had it happen about 50% of the time I'm playing between a new match.
As people have recommended in other threads. When you see a gserpent post, just skip it as of there was no post yet
I paid a lot of attention to your other chat and watched how you tried to educate people on RPR and now I'm seeing it's confirm you were educating people on a class you had no or little knowledge off...
On the other note, I'm starting to feel you continue to have no idea what you're talking about because again, you're literally the only person who makes really odd claims. I'm going to do what Hanri suggest and just ignore you...

We can only hope if 6.2 is to ever bring forth drastic changes.
It will come over time & hopefully it’s suitable for all classes.
PS: SMNs annoys me with their AoEs & LB -Shivers-
"Everything wrong with pvp is a skill issue"
Didnt you know guys?
Most problems are indeed skill issues. I mean, welcome to any forums for any competitive game - people tend to be very bad at evaluating their own play, and this tends to lead people to decide that their problems are the game's fault rather than their own.
Yet these same people never seem to be topping the charts. Must be because of the game/other players/weather patterns holding them back!
If you want my opinion it's still the worst PvP in any mmorpg I have ever played.
The fact that they are doing a 5v5 community cup when you cannot even queue up as 5v5.
It just baffles me, what other game presents something which you cannot even play or do ingame and then holds a event about it.
They are so out of touch with anything related PvP that I even refuse to say the awful chat to say hello before each match.
Why do some classes get LB before other classes why do some LB's have almost no impact on the game and why do some literally shift the balance of a game to your favour at the very start. It makes no sense.
At this rate just delete PvP from this game and stop putting FOMO behind it.

Ya the LB's in general are an overall mess.
BRD LB is the only one that really stands out to be as being really uninspiring... even if it ignored LOS, I still think it would be a little bland. 10% damage buff and LB generation for 30 sec? Okay, that's cool... but AST already does that, but better, and they don't have to wait to use it *after* their team dumps their LBs, since if they pull a Spire card, they can sit on it for up to 15 sec. I think 30% damage up for 5 sec, then 20% for 5 sec, then 10% for 5 sec is just dramatically better than 10% for 30 sec, and that's not even counting the fact that it can also be -30%/20%/10% to any enemies that were in the AOE when the LB was cast...
Every other LB is powerful and effective and I think the general idea is that "if everyone is overpowered, no one is overpowered." I think LBs are, by design, *supposed* to be "omg OP!" But they're balanced by the fact that everyone else gets an LB, they have charge times, and you can see the enemy team's LB status at any time.
