It's better than being "punished" by realizing utopian ideas from people who believe "solutions" for these sorts of systematic issues and human behavior never come with repercussions and consequences.

Sometimes, most of the time in fact, there are no solutions, only trade-offs. Sometimes you make the most of what you have right now. It's quite good right now, all things considered that can go horribly wrong. It's not easy to make things better, it's extremely easy to make things worse. The Devs are doing their best to bring what they can to us, we should trust them to put into the game things that are good for it (not necessarily always things we want).

Geesh... I'm sorry you feel there is no hope and rather sit in the dirt than try to think of ways to make things better.

It is easier to make things worse but it's rewarding when you work hard to try and find a solution. Sometimes you go down before you find a way up. There are always options. It's just a matter of working together to think of what can and cannot work. If you feel there's no way to start a fire in the snow, you'll always have no fire while sitting in the snow. But if you work hard and try and find a way, you eventually can and it helps if people put their heads together rather than shit on each other.

I'm also not mad at SE, I respect they are trying but I think we as their players should be reaching out to them, telling them what we like and don't like, and providing solutions to help them think about what works and what doesn't work. I'm not yelling at SE, I'm trying to communicate to them and to other fellow players.

I'm really sorry you feel there's no such thing as a solution and too afraid of changes.

Personally, I feel PvP was much better before. I enjoyed it better and I feel it got worse. So now we're on opposite ends when I'm wanting to look for a middle ground.

MY friends and I have little gatherings in the Wolve's den, and when we'd get in the same matches - it is the most fun we've had in PvP since launch. We'd get rewards, win some-we'd lose some, we were almost never all on the same team - and Voice chat was spent mostly taunting eachother and laughing.

And I just woke up this morning to the news that they will be taking MORE efforts to prevent friends from queuing together. Not gonna lie, that was a bit upsetting to me. But it's very clear they have no intention of letting us queue with friends.

to be fair it was first players complains with be unfair against pre made party at begin of ffxiv pvp. But it is very stupid from SE didnt make a mode with queue with friends, not even casual mode. Has few friends give up with pvp or rank since cant queue with friends not even casual mode. SE should at least add triple/duo mode if they are afraid less people queue just make solo queue with triple/duo lose or win bit more point.
