I just don't really agree with this claim I've seen that the forums are so horrible as a place to gather feedback, so SE is justified in ignoring it. When other platforms can be similar or worse in terms of feedback. Even if the forums were as bad as some claim, I don't believe that is justification in potentially ignoring the entire platform!

Also, speaking of Twitter, just the other day, I saw some questionable hashtags trending, it was pretty funny actually.

I think that SE is right to ignore some of what is seen around here, but certainly not all of it. Good ideas/feedback does pop up pretty regularly. It just gets lost in the chaos.
