Delete Hyurs

I mean, it's called Final Fantasy. Not Final "Real Life".

Why do we have Hyurs? What's with you guys designing fantasy worlds and thinking we want to play boring humans, all bland and featureless? For an anime-esque game, this is frankly disappointing! I've seen squids with more personality and facial expressions in real life than Hyurs. What even is this, a pale attempt to mimic a human being? Step it up, please.

It's not like they have any personality, really. Miqo'te? Expressive. Au Ra? Creative. Viera? Mystical. Roegadyn? Different, I dig it, we need stuff that takes a spin on being human. Lalafell? It just screams "fantasy". Hrothgar? Top. Notch. An actual animal race, that's as anime fantasy as it could get.

Hell, even Elezen, who are bland as all hell, are a higher effort than this. Frankly just replace Hyurs with Elezen, at least they look different enough to pass for a fantasy setting. No one would notice.

I'd LIKE to sing praises to Highlander Hyurs, but let's be honest, the lack of eyebrows just makes it worse! Kudos for trying to make a human with some oomph to it, but it's still a letdown. When Lyse literally is a Midlander pretending to be a Highlander you just KNOW that the game failed to make anything meaningful with the race. They're all so bland that you could replace one with the other and no one would notice!! THAT'S how bland and boring, insipid and uninspired Hyurs are!

Though on second thought, you can go ahead and rework Miqo'te and Viera. They're literally just Hyurs with cat and rabbit ears, what do they have?? That's almost an insult to Hyurs if they weren't already an insult to themselves with how bland they are. Really, their designs are too early 2000's, they reek of FF11 and FF12. It's FF14, and we can do better, come on Square. You made Burmecians, you made the Qu, you made playable Black Mages and they're just cute Veigar, you made Bangaa and you made Seeq. Miqo'te and Viera, while interesting designs on their own, really are just as bland as Hyurs. They're like those real life humans with custom animal-ear headphones.

And Au Ra, don't think I don't see you guys in the corner. You shook up the formula by being leaner, meaner and cool to customize, but let's not kid ourselves here, y'all are just Goat Hyurs. I've seen better from Granblue Fantasy, and the horned guys there are LITERALLY rip-off Au Ras anyway! Still. Props for trying, really, credit where credit is due, but you're just Elezen actually trying to be an individual. You need more meat on those bones, come on, you can do it, I believe in you!

Still, nothing's worse than Hyur. Actual waste of dev time to support this legacy, bland and boring race.

TLDR: Hyurs were a mistake, and Square needs to step it up in the creativity department. Please stop forcing them into every game you make, you're just pandering to the Defaults who have about as much personality as their character.
