This could be the reason. There was a hickup, people got massdisconnected and now they try to login again and the login servers are exhaused. The login servers can handle 21k people.
You can see the server status here:

i asked the people on this post for there thoughts about the server, not what caused this issue. But thank you for the links to help out players with updates and error codes. But what I'm stating is these servers are now sort of showing issues and problems as a whole hence the thoughts on other players question that i added at the bottom. Again thank you for the tips but this thread isn't after the fix more the opinion of what others feel and think about a server they are paying each month to be on.

Zero problems and loving the game. Happy to be on a server that doesnt have 300 ms lag that destroys gameplay.Again thank you for the tips but this thread isn't after the fix more the opinion of what others feel and think about a server they are paying each month to be on.
Would it have anything to do with the latest patch? If I'm going to have issues it always seems to be associated with an update.
I'm guessing weather/ flood waters? I did a route trace and was fine til it hit SYD. Then it timed out. VPN worked fine for me... once I routed it through JPN instead of AUS.
