Auto mounting for party members / Quality of life for duo /trio / full party MSQ

Hello, it's a simple quality of life request but, i was wondering if anyone ever came up with the suggestion to have some type of "consent" button / form or option for party members / friends that are okay, sometimes even willing to be auto mounted and dismounted in multiple seat mounts (even if randomly on the 234 positions) for the purpose of flying from fates to fates, quest points to quest points / MSQ to MSQ areas ?

I get complaints all the time about how many clicks it takes to ride pillion so I'm all for streamlining it.

No idea how that would work though. It being based on proximity would get annoying and troll worthy frame 1 even it there was a consent button. Anything else would still end up requiring a agree option and a setting arrangement option for 3+ seating. Setting it all up before hand again would only be a decent option if the rider then didn't have to provide further input afterwards returning us to troll territory.

Other considerations can be proposed but becaused they all still need some form of repeated input by the rider they beg the question of worth, I would think.

It would definitely make it easier when doing map parties. As long as it's something you can change the setting on in a case by case bases(not all parties do you want to ride in the same mount as another person, like sometimes when minions spawn for SS ranks)

Macro: /ridepillion <2> 1

where <2> is the position in party list. "1" is the seat# (1,2,3 depending on the mount's capacity).

Yep, was just about to suggest. All you need to do is make the macro and click the button while in part.

Although I would say use: /ridepillion <t>
That sets it for your current target, rather than a party member, which would only apply to that position in the party each time, so it could fail?

Same as using /levelsync to quickly sync yourself to the fate levels.

My preference is using a controller on PS5. I have a number of settings turned on and most are the same across all my jobs.

Cross Hotbar #1 is always the general utility bar.
It contains Teleport, Return, Mount, Food, Spring, Stance (to unsheathe weapon and thus auto-switch me to CHB #2 for combat).
I also put my Aether Compass on here, Gysahl Greens to keep my Chocobo out while solo. Khloe's Wondrous Tails book so I can quickly use a second chance if I'm running through EX Primals to clear a book.

And it's also good for special actions, such as BLM's action to swap fire/ice, to keep it going while running between pulls, or a tank's ranged move when I'm approaching enemies. Stuff I need to use while out-of-combat and on the move.
