Please, PLEASE lock Balmung's access to Wanderers and Travelers.

I'm a long time player from Balmung and I can say that this server is in utter shambles due to being pretty being turned into a +18 tourist place.
But my main issue with it are:
1) The horrendous queue times, even at dead hours
2) Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa (and soon Gridania!) being congested due to the amount of people server hopping
3) Latency issues when so many players congregate in the main cities
Please do something about it, I know Square Enix has locked Firmament's access to Wanderers and Travelers, I'm sure you can lock a whole server as well.

Honestly, this. At least for a couple weeks until the hype dies down. It's already bad enough that people from Balmung have to wait in queue because wanderers never log out in their own server.

Yeah Balmung is going to be a disaster for a few weeks with all the "haha lets go ironically check out the ERP" crowd and the "haha lets go seriously check out the ERP" crowd. I don't see an issue with locking Balmung for Wanderers and Travelers; if they have friends on Balmung who want to play they can all go play on one of the lower population Crystal servers like Diabolos or Brynhildr.

I think it would be easier, if they made dedicated servers for roleplay 2-3 per data center would solve a lot of those..

Whenever I visit Balmung to meet friends or RP, there's always wannabe e-celebs sharing their horrible takes in the Quicksands /shout chat or spamming links to their Discord/Twitch channel (pseudo "DJs" and the like) or hilarious gentlemen who call their friends over to start Ability Spam Trains. Sure, I have reported some of them but there's so much the GMs can take in terms of reports, and it will only get worse in the following days.
It would be nice to implement RP Instances inside cities, so people who actually want to go and RP do it there, leaving the other more distruptive "elements" in the non-RP Instances.

Balmung is awesome damn the secret (well not sure it's that guarded a secret) will be gone and we'll be exposed to the world! :P (You could take that literally.) Ul Dah might need instances.
