If there is one thing that doesn't work in FF14, its the discord between the playerbase and devs.
Devs have their own mindset, while players get to experience gameplay most. It's really sad to see that some of the devs are stubborn.

The devs do have their own mindset, yes. They're Japanese. There's a linguistic and cultural difference.

If anyone's stubborn, it's the people like the English speakers on this forum who refuse to try a better approach to communicating with the devs. Yoshida has even thrown hints on how to better communicate with the devs, asking people to do things like put subtitles on their videos so the devs can understand. He's asked people to have some decency in their interactions, as these are just people doing their jobs. How many times is there some difference of opinion in these forums and someone just has to resort to personal attacks instead of properly defending their point or leaving the comment alone?

There's an expectation that devs or even the community team must sort through all the rubbish and fighting that goes on to properly glean any legit gems of feedback. That is stubbornness.
