    Suggestion: Make Trials roulette rewards available multiple times a day

    We've noticed on Twintania novice network that a number of new players have had extended MSQ trial queue times during daylight hours (in every role). Perhaps allowing people to gain the trials roulette bonus multiple times in a day could alleviate this? Obviously this may require slightly reduced rewards per run to balance this.

    Personally I'm less likely to run trials roulette daily due to the fact that Astronomy tomes are easy to cap with expert roulette/MSQ/hunts and other methods (such as a slightly lucky wondrous tails). Giving some tomestones of poetics could be a alternative reward.

    Regardless of the reward calculations, I think having trials roulette available for up to 3 or more times daily would be conducive to improving queue times for new players. For veteran players - trials are usually rather quick (compared to dungeons or alliance raids) so could be a good incentive for daily rewards.

    Trials are good for leveling. A decent chunk of EXP in just 10 minutes. But at max-level a lot of the roulettes become semi-useless. Weekly-capped tomestones are too easy to get from Expert roulette, so that's the only must-run roulette. The uncapped endgame tomestones just aren't worth much: You only use them on crafting mats and the Rain for augmenting, and you can get them easily from every roulette.

    Poetics are more in-demand just because of old relic quests. So maybe if Trials rewarded like 40-60 poetics that might be the small boost it needs? It's kinda weird that Normal Raids give 80 poetics and Trials give none.

    Allowing it to be run twice a day wouldn't help much. Veterans would just cap out sooner or get bored of it sooner.

    I would like that very much, both the original suggestion and the additional one about the tomestones.
    Although I am not opposed to being dungeons or anything, I prefer trials because my health doesn't always agree with me about how long I want to commit to a duty. Yes, a dungeon can be finished surprisingly fast and a trial, especially the ones later in the game, can take a bit longer with a wipe or two and explanations inbetween. But I also don't have to focus on three different bosses and their mechanics and how to handle mobs and all that.

    However, if I really want to level a job, playing a trial roulette without the bonus and any kind of tomestone loot is not a very good way to do this, so although I have the option to run trial roulette 20 times a day, it's not very tempting or rewarding. Apart from the warm fuzzy feeling of altruism for helping others to get their stuff done, but I doubt this is enough long term motivation for the average player. xD So yes, a big +1 for this.

    This is an issue I see on my server as well. Seeing people make a party finder listing for the level 84 trial because DF takes so long makes me a little sad. Not 100% sure if multiple trial rewards a day is the right answer, but since it seems worst for Endwalker trials, maybe a stronger reward for level 90 players doing trial roulette?

    Definitely a stronger reward for lvl 90 players is needed across all roulettes. I don't think it has to be a huge increase, but it would be nice to receive a little extra gil, seals, or tomes for going into a roulette at max level.

    I think poetics simply need to have more uses for non crafters. Crafting mats are nice for selling, but someone who does a lot very likely has a lot of valuable items to sell anyway. Crafting mats are not interesting then. By giving some non crafting rewards, poetics remain valuable. For the sake of it they could even make a few mounts for them that would require a million poetics as a long term grind.

    Agreed with what a few others have said. Using myself as an example, I usually only play FFXIV for about an hour or so a day. If I'm doing roulettes, it's typically either Expert for the tomestones or Normal Raid because I'm slowly but steadily doing the Bozja artifact weapon quest. I feel the issue is less people being limited to only 1 reward per day, but more people not even doing that 1 run per day. Improving the reward itself probably does more than raising the cap on number of rewards...if I'm not doing it in the first place, giving me an extra run I'm not going to use doesn't help.

    Frankly, better rewards won't help entice people. It's tiring to try and help out with these and there's at least one person that doesn't want to listen or learn. Last time I did Final Day, there was a BLM that refused to get up at one point, which slowed things down. They finally popped up for the limit phase.

    It's been almost a year and going by personal anecdotal "evidence" it feels like the situation didn't improve or even got worse, and I am not on a new DC or anything. Especially when it comes to optional content like the Stormblood trial series you can wait quite a long time outside busy hours, but not everyone is able to play in the early evening around reset. I know, it's content draught, but the game should still be okay to play in a decent amount of time during one. ^^;
    (Was hoping one or two relic steps might help with this, but considering you only have to do a hand full of daily roulettes for each step, of which trial is only one, I doubt this would have a big impact. Certainly not as much as "collect X items of type Y from trial roulette" or something.) We really need changes!

    Tomestone cap is too low > Tomestone cap is reached on Wednesday > no more reason to do any roulettes.

    increase tomestone cap to ~750
