Maybe they want dragoon to gain a job gauge sooner; currently they don't get their job gauge until 70. Perhaps introduce a new additional job gauge centered around the dragoon's jump skills that will give them more airtime?
I really hope they don't mess up dragoon too badly though; I already figure they're gonna do something that'll be unpopular, I just don't want them to outright destroy dragoon.
