It really is amazing how all the low effort baiters have male elezen avatars. And people make fun of au ra for being the edgy teen boy race.

I can't help but think of this video, when it comes to these types of people in support of 1-2-3 and perhaps Quatro! gameplay.
" 123-4 Gameplay! Woohoo!! "
(Warning: I will not be held responsible for lost IQ points)
Acid aside, here's my 2 cents as a Non-DRG main.
I'd be surprised if these types of players even know what Life Surge / Battle Litany / Dragon Sight is or does to even complain about simplifying or removing them. Lets remove Elusive Jump, it's just a button that turns my casual 123 rotation combo brain into a FloorTank everytime... /s
Almost as if all these bad takes are coming from non-DRG mains or people who don't play the game beyond the bare minimum content the game provides. Or another Elezen on the forum.
Any Lv47 Dragoon MSQ enjoyers in this thread maybe?
Ironic, reading MSQ for hours? sure. Reading tooltips for 10 min? wow! now that's a burden... that goes into Elitism, pfff... " Reading ", how dare u. /s
The argument point of wanting Less is more Fun? when Less means Less gameplay as well, makes little sense and its quite selfish as well since it comes at the cost of long DRG mains enjoyment. If your point is MSQ? you don't need to understand the job. Or any job you literally press 1 2 3 and perhaps 4, and done. There's no difficult Enrage in MSQ, if you know what an Enrage even is..
As far as I know? there's no medical condition for being allergic to more gameplay either... but FFXIV forum posters defending simplifications are making me think otherwise...

Can we come up with a different term for these people, lazy players maybe? I'm a casual player (play a couple of hours a week, cap tomestones, no savage/extreme/ultimates) and cringe every time these people open their mouths. Casual players are fine, that isn't a casual player. I love DRG and don't want it to change, I love the more complex jobs but also love simple jobs sometimes.
These players that make pariahs out of "elite" (read: normal) players and act like they're ruining "their game" are a huge problem and calling them "casual players" is insulting to casual players and is greatly understating who they actually are. They're possessive, they're controlling, they're way more likely to ruin the game than any other group of people.
from what I've noticed it's usually casual raiders in specific for the most part. Of course, it's not great to generalize and I don't really call those people casuals either, as if there's something bad about playing a game casually. Those kinds of players exist everywhere but I don't think there's really ever been a specific term created for themCan we come up with a different term for these people, lazy players maybe? I mean I am a super casual raider who usually gives up at the first tier since I don't have a static, I feel like I'm more annoyed by the toxic casualism than most. But it's the players who join PF groups well above their understanding of fight mechanics that always kill the current savage prog for me, if you can reach the enrage in a practice or clear group it really doesn't matter how badly you are optimizing your rotation, if you can get that far eventually you clear. You get stuck because you are dragged down by players who keep collecting damage downs, not because the job specific skill ceiling is too high.from what I've noticed it's usually casual raiders in specific for the most part. EDIT: honestly, if square is serious about lowering the barrier of entry for casuals like me raiding wise? Introduce player-specific checkpoints in PF groups beyond duty completion. Just do not let assholes expecting a carry in phase 2 practice groups unless they've actually reached phase 2 without a single KO. Lowering job difficulty is miles away from where the actual problem is with trying to casual raid.

Im kinda new to FFXIV I got on like 1 year ago just to play Dragoon because it looked sick but with EW changes its not as fun as it was before somehow. Dragoon lost is Iconic blue Aura mode and I know many hated it but the aura could have been trigger when you have 1 stack of Eye and then after that they removed an other Iconic thing and it was the tether of Dragon Sigh I use to love to jump with that. I don't what they will change, I don't know if those visual stuff will come back but when I think about it maybe they will change 'Wheeling Thrust' and 'Fang and Claws' since now with EW Heaven Thrust is 480 potency and like- Fang and claws/Wheeling Thrust is like 300~400 potency
Also small thing out of context but imagine if Dragoon would transform like Nidhogg phase 2 (smaller) after using Stardiver with new attack for a few second that would be sick but I know im dreaming
