bruh they just announced the weapon quests are going to start in patch 6.25
we just got patch 6.18

There are more quests beyond that one, but the relic grind isn't out yet.

Actually pretty glad I'm hanging my hat up on EW. I got burned out - felt kinda sad that I'd miss the relic. Now, uh. Not really.

A lot of the complaints still reek of entitlement imo.
You can't have it your way every time, I am glad the devs do something different and take risks and actually try to appeal to different people too.

I think it's more entitled to tell people to keep playing content they don't like. I'm just passing on this round of relics because this is beyond unappealing to me. This game ain't just about you. You don't pay my sub. Yadda yadda.

It's funny, cuz that's what we were told with eureka and bozja. And pretty much every piece of content people don't like.

A lot of people will say they won't do it, then they will do it anyway - especially if the weapons end up looking good, and/or other rewards.

You shouldn't be shamed into doing content you don't want because it's "entitlement" - or whatever. It just kinda hit me like a bucket of ice water to hear "Hildebrand" and "relic" in the same content block. Call me a heretic, but I've never liked those questlines. Happy for people who do and are psyched. Just not for me.

I dont think anyone is trying to shame anyone into content. I think alot of the current annoyance (at least from the side saying people need to chill) is that, while there was some discourse in the past around relic weapons, this particular situation is seemingly getting an intense amount of more blacklash then past situations. Almost every relic has been locked behind some story/quest line that was required before getting to the actual relic. Eureka is a good example. The stormblood alliance raids were all required to be finished before even getting to the shadowbringers relics, ect. In blunt comparison, the hildabrand quest are LAUGHABLY short compared to starting the shadowbringers relics if you hadent touched the stormblood alliance raids. So it beings to feel off when now, of all times, people are freaking out. From any conceivable angel, outside of "well I just dislike the humor", the upcoming relic weapons seem to be the newest set of the last 2 to 3 that has the least amount of work needed to just begin it. So when the forms become this seemingly endless deluge of people complaining, when this is exactly how its been the past 4+years, it becomes a little frustrating. For people who arent into it, thats fine. You dont need to interact with anything, but for those complaining, it kinda comes off as...well, silly. Its like having a set lunch schedule for years in a school, and then one day, when the exact same food is scheduled to be served, a small crowed looses its absolute mind because the main dish is served with wheat toast instead of rye. The entire freakout has become less about "well its just not content I like" to "well its content I dislike, therefor its wrong, but its ok if its content I do like". Alot of the complainers seemingly want to be pandered to.
