And what if the Hildy requirement is just to get the initial step and quest unlocked, and you don't need to do Hildibrand more afterwards?

I don't like Hildibrand I think his brand of humor is garbage. But other people like him and that's fine, we have different tastes.

It also depends how far we need to go into his questline as well.

There's too much we don't know even if my current decision is a pass.

As it stands, yes, it is actually making me consider if I want to skip out on the relic this expansion I dislike him that much.
