Hildibrand for relic? Really?

I'm very confused how many people bring this argument, mostly because doing Hildi is just the prerequisite. I'm quite confident that we'll get our usual grindy relic steps after it as the expansion progresses.

I don't know, why would they be called Manderville weapons, if Hildebrand was only a requirement? It's true that we don't know the specifics yet, but the name + the progrssion being quest-based seems to point out that the progression/grind will be just more Hildiverse shenanigans.
