...why you gotta be like this?
This isn't how it went down at all...
This is alot more accurate.
I even tried to be supportive and you wanna be all...
Is there any meaning to derailing this discussion so hard with pointless harassment? We can all state our opinions without derailing the discussion.
I personally won't be doing this relic as a relic grinder as the tone of the prerequisite story is not my flavor of story and it makes me believe the relic story will be more in line with the quest chain I already disliked. I would love to be proven wrong on that but until it is released that is the only opinion I can give for now. My worry is more content is becoming something I do not feel like interacting with due to the overuse of humor that doesn't land for me and "slice of life" moments.

No, we can't
We complain about a stale and rigid formula, wherein the developers are too afraid to bother deviating from the said content formula. When they elect to deviate from it and try something different. We then subsequently complain and throw our toys out of the pram because it cost us a dungeon or an exploration zone for them to deviate.I mean ....we just saved the world. What's wrong with our WoL taking it easy before a big storyline drop? I mean, wouldn't you if you were in their shoes and this wasn't a video game hypothetically?. You probably be pretty freaking tired lol. Makes sense to me story wise. I can relate to it.Is there any meaning to derailing this discussion so hard with pointless harassment? So are you going to drop it and go, or...

If you have done Hildy, you should consider doing the Scholasticate quests. They provide an example of a character from the Hildy storyline where it isn't a slapstick comedy story. Considering we've only see Godbert for this, it's very possible this will go the same way. He clowns when he's with his son, but he's a highly respected member of the Syndicate, a successful businessman who owns the Gold Saucer, moonlights at the winter holidays as the Saint of Nymeia, and is renowned as a master goldsmith. It's that last bit that makes it very possible these will be some amazing weapons, as you have the blacksmith who can imbue souls into weapons with arguably the finest craftsman around. Is there any meaning to derailing this discussion so hard with pointless harassment? Oh I love the Scholasticate , it is the reason I did ARR Hildibrand initially. My issue is if it is just Godbert why is the entire quest required and not simply ARR Hildibrand only? Godbert has also appeared in the MSQ during Stormblood as the owner of Gold Saucer. The fact every part is required really just doesn't fill me with with a ton of hope this won't be more of that.If you have done Hildy, you should consider doing the Scholasticate quests. I'm incredibly curious why it will unlock with the Somewhat Further line myself. But I trust that they have a solid reason. There's something in the questline up to that point that is going to be important or at least will establish something that needs to be established. We may not even fully understand the connection until we're at the end of the questline.Oh I love the Scholasticate , it is the reason I did ARR Hildibrand initially. My theory is that it is related to Gilgamesh somehow. He's a master of weapons, after all.I'm incredibly curious why it will unlock with the Somewhat Further line myself. It would feel far more warranted if anything actually happened to us our our allies. But instead we manage to avert a universal threat with not even a scratch on our bodies. We already got multiple lunch dates, chill time with the loporris, magical girl adventures with Yshtola. When is enough, enough?I mean ....we just saved the world. Let the good times roll before the next big bad pops I'd say. Not everything has so be so serious all the time. If the content is too relaxed. You could always just play a different game a little while and come back. I am happy we get any content at all and they are breaking away from the formula a little bit.It would feel far more warranted if anything actually happened to us our our allies.
