I've played a lot of MMOs over 20+ years. This is the one where the story was relevant and essential. Other MMOs might have a story arc in an expansion or even some loose threads going from expansion to expansion, but this the only one where story takes front and center. I greatly enjoy that aspect. I enjoy that I can have alts, but I don't have to because I can be all classes on a single character. I always make a beeline to the tradeskills in MMOs and while I think here it's a bit overly reliant on macros, I still enjoy the process. I just don't use macros. The music is fantastic. The visuals, even on my edging on potato PC, are breathtaking in many places. And one thing I appreciate the most is the theme park design. I *can* go do X or Y, or I can choose not to, or I can do it later. So if I don't want to play that night or do this given activity that night, I don't have to. This may not suit some, but for me who has felt tied to games and felt compelled to play in the past, this game is a breath of fresh air.
