Like I have said before, I am actually quite the casual. When I try to play other games that require a long term investment, and constant play, I get burned out to the point I never want to play these games again. Not to mention the immense amount of fomo mechanics many of these other games have, instead of making me want to stay invested in these games, I realize I won't be able to keep up unless I make them my life (or spend a lot of money), so that also factors into me never wanting to play them again.

FFXIV is the one game I have played mostly regularly for five and a half years, so far. I think a good way to describe this game to me, is it is a "comfort" for me. I feel comfortable just logging in and relaxing. AFKing on my front lawn or inside my Inn room. Just doing whatever.
I think this is a major thing that pushed me out of WoW. Like I am still happy to talk about things I liked, and sometimes point out things I hope we can pilfer lol, but I felt compelled to do stuff or be put in a bad position... Which in and of itself that puts me in a bad position.. I don't like feeling compelled to 'have fun'.

I /really/ appreciate that part in FFXIV, though certainly not the only thing.
