What are the things you really enjoy about the game?

Been seeing a lot of complaint threads and what not...bound to happen with several million playing cause you can't please everyone. So instead of focusing on what you don't like...just on here...what DO you like. What keeps you coming back?

For me? The people. Love em? Hate em? Either way...I find it fascinating. I'm big on being a fly on the wall and just watch people doing their own thing. I'm on Balmung and it's just packed with so many people and they are all doing different things. I've played other MMOs and I've noticed long periods where...nothing is even said. It was always sad.

I also just enjoy the gameplay. I like being able to switch classes and just doing that for a while. I guess I just don't really have complaints cause I was just brought up to adapt to change. Yeah sometimes changes happen I'm not a fan of but I'll just go to a practice dummy and wail on it for about 30 minutes or so until it feels like 2nd nature and then I just continue on from there.

So...what keeps you guys going?

It's a Final Fantasy game where I can create my own character and play through it's story as my character (this is the same reason I played FFXI). And FFXIV is a lot easier and more forgiving gameplay wise (FFXI really felt like a chore to play a lot of the time) - yes I'm very much a casual player, but it's good for me and that's what I like. Of course not everyone would share such opinions but I love the game despite it's flaws and that's what is important to me.

I feel like if I put the time and effort in then PvP would be one of my more enjoyable aspects, otherwise.

I guess Ocean Fishing, Deep Dungeons, and Eureka are some of my most enjoyable things in the game.

Glams, interior decoration, alliance raids.
My glam plates are full and new outfits I like don't come out all that often anymore, my storage is also full, my apartment and fc room are decorated, housing is now impossible, and it'll be a while before a new alliance raid comes out. I am quite bored at the moment!

The music, the lore (especially the way it blends elements from EVERY game in the series), the social interactions, the gorgeous visuals, the customization options (though these could be better)...

I just like the fact that there is so much to do. I can change up whenever I like be it job or activity. Yesterday I worked on crafting all day, the week before I was questing, today I mucked around with soloing POTD. Always something else to do and none of it feels like required work.
