Since expecting hrothgar to get even their ears back, much less all their race hairs unlocked or new options in 6.2 is staggeringly unrealistic (but by christ do I pray) my only real hope for 6.2 is they move CT to msq roulette. Its not fun not a single job in this game is worth a crap with its lv50 skillset, and about only half are enjoyable at 60.
I fully expect criterion dungeons to be nothing new just Potd THREE.
I hope to god we get a dungeon for the Golbez trials because otherwise the trials will be Cagnazzo, Scarmiglione, Barbaricca and Rubicante meanwhile no boss fight with Golbez or Zeromus and thats so lame a Zeromus fight would be incredible. But Scarmiglione as the dungeon boss he wasnt really noteworthy in 4 to begin with (hes the Fiend of Earth but doesnt use Quake???).
I really hope we get the relics in 6.2. Not 6.25, 6.2. I hated how much was crammed into bozjan relic grinding because they slapped alla that into the .5 patch. "But what about savage and tome weapons" those'll still exist bc most people are just gonna get the relic for their main not every class bc thats an insane grind.
And lastly in spite of what I said at the start I hope the 6.2 hair fits hrothgar. Please stop leaving us out of fun new stuff.

Can't wait to read subs done by fans on discord because the 2billion dollar company couldn't be arsed to call in a translator who's probably just chilling in another room down the hall.

The person who translates was advertising jobs not long ago and I think the job was listed for months.

The powerpoint slides are translated, just not the surrounding discussion. I think they must be able to tell that we'd like the translations, but it doubles the duration of the live letters which is frustrating for some people to sit through.

As many as 100,000 people watch these depending on what time they are at, but a lot of people just watch the summaries by content creators or find out about them through word of mouth. The information is later conveyed in lodestone posts and a dedicated website for the patch closer to the dates, which are seen in the launcher, so the important information does get translated.

SE must not see them as important as the ones before an expansion though because the ones before an expansion are part of the marketing for an expansion they want to sell.

I see no evidence that ilvl cheese is actually a thing. When I do the roulette I get alliance raids from all of the expansions evenly. Just because ilvl cheese is possible doesn't mean that people actually do it.

If crystal tower is more likely, it will be because the chance someone is leveling a class under 60 is higher than the chance that everyone is leveling a class over 60.

The difference with climate change is that there is actual evidence that it's happening and not just an assumption based on the fact it's possible.

Just because you assume people do it, doesn't mean that people do it. As I explained, even if nobody did ilvl cheese, Crystal Tower would still be more common because it's the first one. You have 18 classes most of which start at level 1 and it's more likely that the massive influx of new players we always have are leveling a class below level 60 than below level 90.

I'm sure no malice was meant, but there was an interview done during the duo interview phase a while ago and one of those creators made a tweet that essentially said Instanced Housing incoming lol. Bet that didn't help all this xD.

And if they're upset about it just because of how lacklustre it ends up being? I keep seeing this instanced housing thing crop up, which was speculation seeded by some gaming sites covering commentary on it. But it was still presented as a major feature of the new expansion, and I think the instanced housing thing is a bit of a strawman here. It's not necessary people to think it's that, for it to end up being disappointing.

I'm sure there's some who will be disappointed for that reason, but whatever. The fact that we have to go into everything with such minimal expectations says something in itself. I am just judging them against their own words, be they here, or during the announcement event.
