    Spell Queueing Mouse over Macros?

I was looking on the forum trying to find something related to this topic. but I was wondering if we have any idea if they will make or are looking into allowing mouse over macro's to spell queue abilities? kinda of sucks not being able to queue spells when healing.

Macros don't spell queue at all. It not just mouse overs. They haven't talked about it in a while but AFAIK there are no plans to change that.

They've also stated that they want to integrate in-demand features to reduce the use of third party tools. It's not unreasonable to expect them to include smartcasting, a feature that both third party tools and decade+ old games also include.

Macros, no, but mouseover casting of individual skills is a very different feature than asking for full-on combat macros.

My concern is they'll do something weird with it like (A) a /keybind for mouseover targeting, wherein you have to hold a key like V when you want a mouseover target or (B) a /characterconfig setting where when active, the game will automatically try to mouseover actions but will default to a <me> or <t> if there is no <mo>.

Option (A) is bad because some heals would require an additional keypress; but not all my heals, so I couldn't just bake the mouseover key into my mouse buttons.

Option (B) is bad because <mo> macros currently do not coerce a <me> when the target is valid but out of range. With the current behavior if you try to <mo> heal someone out in Narnia you won't cast anything, and this is preferable because it doesn't waste a heal on yourself. I can't help but imagine that if the devs tried to program this we would end up wasting more heals on self when we want to be using them on mouseover targets.

Mouseover targeting without the macro delay would be nice but to be honest I don't trust the devs to implement it in a way that is sensible and convenient, and whatever we get would probably be worse than using current <mo> macros.
