Grey Pigment

Hey all. Every guide says that Grey Pigment comes from logging lvl 30 mature trees in the South Shroud. My Botany is at 67 and everything is 100% drop rate.

I've cut down maybe 20 of said trees and not seen a single Grey Pigment.

I always use Luck Of the Pioneer to uncover hidden items but so far I got nothing.

Am I doing something wrong or is Grey Pigment just a particularly rare drop?

Grey Pigment is a common, always on a node in slot 6 or 7.
You will need to be logging in the South Shroud - Upper Paths, around Loc 17 x 22-ish





If you are at the Silent Arbor, east of Quarry Mill at Loc 27 x 20-ish, those are the wrong trees.

Also, you can Quarry up Grey Pigment with a miner job in Western La Noscea - Quarterstone at Loc 32 x 28-ish

For botany and mining, if you want to gather something specific, open your gathering log and search for the item you need. The log will tell you where that item can be gathered and can even give you a map marker to find the items.
