Game Crash after entering Azim Steppe for the First Time

I suggest you right click on your character and select Visit Another World Server. It will temporarily transfer your character to Ul'dah on another world server. Once you've done this, you can return to your home world by following the guide at https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/worldstatus/

If you still crash after being transported to Ul'dah, it might be that your client setting files are corrupt. You can go to Document\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn and find the folder for your character. I suggest backing them up by dragging them onto the desktop. If it let's you login successfully, I suggest dragging the files back in and overwriting one at a time until it causes a crash again (logout and in after each one). If it causes a crash again, then the last file you dragged in is the corrupt one.

If none of that works, it could be a graphics bug involving your GPU or a problem with your graphics settings/hardware.
