This seems like the part where you should actually be stopping to seriously consider an actual answer. There's no force, no coercion, no obligation.
Sounds like there's only one person to blame here.
im at a point where i hate the first two lvl 50 alliance raids... you know what i did? i stopped doing alliance-raid roulette.
While not hating them on that level, I immensely dislike folks who don't have their main job rotation figured out by HW/Stormblood.
And I primarily mean you Black Mages who still use Fire/Ice 1 to swap between Astral/Umbral at 50+ in a fight. Or even worse, use Transpose. Read your tooltips.

So to defend those BLMs just for a minute, the tooltips dont emphasize the important parts(and sometimes to get the full picture you need to read 3 or 4 separate tips spread over different abilities and traits to see how they tie together). On top of that, the ideal BLM rotation changes pretty significantly every 10 or so levels through most of the game(at the very least until you get Fire 4, with some of the later changes being more minor) but no where is this made obvious in game. When most classes get a new skill its obvious where it fits into the rotation, BLM doesnt always get that advantage. While not hating them on that level, I immensely dislike folks who don't have their main job rotation figured out by HW/Stormblood.

Signed,
A BLM who was closer to 50 then 40 when they figured out stance changing with the 3-tier spells.
Reading and understanding Aspect Mastery I (Level 1) and Aspect Mastery (Level 35) by the time you are done Level 35 Job quest to get Fire and Blizzard III should be enough to have a rough idea of how the Black Mage works at its core. Nearly anything else after that just expands on it with upgraded spells and newer ones you add into the rotation you should have learned at 35.
Is the job more difficult to understand at the beginning and the text is not helping? Sure.
But then at least read up a guide or blast a dummy until the job feels right for you. Self-improvement should be a big thing.
If you found the job's sweet spot in your 40's, good on you. Though the previous post was made specifically for those in their later levels, since I even saw some still using Fire/Blizzard I in Endwalker content. And that's just sad.

How can you hate content you havent even SEEN yet? What I do HATE is 6.2's Island Sanctuary, it seems more like WoW's Garrison.
Ok lets gate everything in the game behind the main story progression but lets make it so that you cannot get random dungeons lower than your max level. Can you already see where a problem is forming? Especially if this system would go out lasting for years?About the duty roulette is that i have to play through 20/30/40/50/60/70 or 80 level dungeons. Like what is the point of this? Why do i sit through and play level 20 dungeon when i am level 80. This is the only mmorpg that i've seen doing this so far. And it is even worse because it is in FFXIV. Because most of the classes are dead boring before level 60- and some of them even level 70. Black mage for example. I wanna use my daily one time play rewards as a black mage but the idea of getting matched for level 20-50 level dungeon is literally making me wanna get violent, cause you know black mage is one of the most -if it isn't the worst- boring class before level 60. So i just wanted to share this frustration of mine. I wish things were diffrent

*see more mogstation items that would fit as an in game reward*
*everyone claps*
It's just too tiring to hate against the inevitable, lol.
