I really really just wish theyd make CT alliance solo instances 6/7 daily alliance roulettes are "hey do you wanna be bored with your trash lv50 skills so 1 person at best can advance the story?" its so annoying like no wonder 3 or 4 people leave every day.
Like OP said not 1 job in this game is even mildly fun at lv50 most dont feel good until 70 but boy oh boy getting Syrcus or Labyrinth every day is so thrilling.

The CT alliances happening so often is just as much (if not moreso) the result of higher-level players who have already done the story intentionally equipping lower-level gear so that the system forces the CT raids, which give the same significant roulette reward but go much quicker than some of the higher-level alliance raids. New players going through it for the first time are likely a minority of the reason it happens so much.

That's because people are intentionally forcing alliance roulette to roll the Crystal tower for them, because they WANT only the tower by taking advantage of one or two different exploits.

Now that you know that, you can be upset at the people abusing exploits and making the alliance roulette work less well and be rather more anoying.

Reallity: people ungearing so they can get CT because it's fast.

Obviously you are not aware that they did implement something which will mitigate this to some extent.

Open the duty finder... open the Duty finder settings.... Limited Leveling Roulette. may assist to lessen your hatred. it is infallible? no, but can cut down on you having to play with lesser beings.

About the duty roulette is that i have to play through 20/30/40/50/60/70 or 80 level dungeons. Like what is the point of this? Why do i sit through and play level 20 dungeon when i am level 80. This is the only mmorpg that i've seen doing this so far. And it is even worse because it is in FFXIV. Because most of the classes are dead boring before level 60- and some of them even level 70. Black mage for example. I wanna use my daily one time play rewards as a black mage but the idea of getting matched for level 20-50 level dungeon is literally making me wanna get violent, cause you know black mage is one of the most -if it isn't the worst- boring class before level 60. So i just wanted to share this frustration of mine. I wish things were diffrent
